“Field Notes, Oct. 2025” is a collaborative collection of art by Rachel Christopoulos and Reneé Royal. The 12 paintings in this series circle around themes of nature and wildlife; playing with the vibrancy and energy found in the earth all around.
📍 the woods - Clarksville, ga
Rachel and Reneé pulled inspiration from both the Midwest and the North Georgia Mountains taking a dual perspective approach to the compositions. The challenge of working together on the canvases, often simultaneously, caused both artists to adapt their styles and focus on the harmonization of both as they built up unique layers that highlighted their differences and echoed their similarities as the paintings were completed.
There are a total of 12 paintings of various sizes in this collaboration. All pieces are wired, varnished, and signed with a unique signature marking them as a collaborative work from this project by Rachel and Reneé.
