ABOUT ME: 💅🏼
I am a self-employed artist using acrylic paint to blur the line between Impressionism and Pop Art. My current work is focused on color and light and exploring Midwestern culture (🧀🐄🍻) through playful takes on familiar imagery using vibrant color and heavy brushstrokes. (Consider it delightfully CHONKY.)
Each new painting is a chance for me to explore the boundaries of realism, often focusing on the essence of the subject over the object itself. This process has led to paintings with abstracted elements and a dreamy haze. ✨
🖼️ In my studio you will find paintings of everything from my favorite state parks to jars of pickles and brandy cocktails. The diversity is intentional because I believe that everything is art if you choose to see it that way. (🎤💥)
